escoff.ai is an AI recipe-creation studio: a split-screen workspace where you talk to a culinary AI on one side and watch a structured recipe — ingredients, ratios, technique, aroma/taste/texture profile, plating — take shape live on the other.
It's a separate product, not a BNY-branded tool.
A general chatbot writes a recipe as a block of text once, then forgets it — ask for a change and it re-generates the whole thing from scratch, with no memory of what you liked. escoff.ai keeps the recipe as a structured, versioned canvas: the AI edits that canvas in conversation, changes are undoable and nothing is described as done unless it actually landed on the canvas. The difference is a living object you steer, not a wall of text you re-request.
Start from a text idea, a fridge photo, a grocery list, or an imported recipe/PDF/URL, and it builds a structured version: ingredients with real ratios, cooking technique, aroma/taste/texture profile, plating notes, and generated dish image — all editable by talking to it.
No — it's a general recipe-creation tool across cuisines, not a fermentation specialist. Koji, miso, shoyu, and the rest of BNY's technical depth live with BU NE YEMEK and Kojiology; escoff.ai is a separate, broader cooking product.
There's a free plan alongside paid tiers for heavier use.
Yes — escoff.ai has launched as a freemium subscription product, with a free plan available.
Home cooks who want to iterate on a dish before committing ingredients to it, recipe developers and food-media brands, and professional kitchens building out a shared recipe workflow.
